Local funding for local groups

Hertfordshire Community Foundation provides a range of grants to support the county's community and voluntary groups.

Household Support Fund for Groups

Grants of up to £10,000
Next deadline: 29th July 2022


Funding for groups supporting vulnerable people particularly affected by the pandemic to help with access to food and fuel

HCF Large up to £5,000 or £10,000

Next application deadline: Midnight 2nd August 2022 for decisions in October.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects addressing identified needs in Hertfordshire. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for projects addressing mental health needs in children and young people and social isolation in people over 65.

Frank Litchfield Charitable Trust

Next application deadline: Midnight 2nd August 2022 for decisions in October.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available to groups addressing deprivation but especially rural isolation, within 25 miles of Royston. This includes all of East Herts, North Herts, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City.

Grants of up to £5,000 to promote the health and wellbeing of older people in Bushey and the surrounding area.

Grants of up to £5,000 to support innovative local schemes which aim to reduce crime and make our communities safer.

Grants of up to £1000 to support grassroots organisations (annual income of under £100,000) who are helping to maintain and strengthen our communities.

Love Herts Day - Celebrating local charities
On Tuesday, 1 June 2022 a team from Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF) joined the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Sally Burton DL, for a very special road trip around Hertfordshire to celebrate ‘Love Herts Day’. .
