Holiday Activities Programme - Grants Manager

HCF is seeking a highly motivated grants manager to join its team to help deliver an exciting new programme. Funded by the Department for Education, the programme will support children living in Hertfordshire on free school meals to participate in holiday activities which will include the provision of a meal and enrichment activities. The programme will help tackle loneliness, isolation, inactivity and holiday hunger.

This is a temporary, part-time contract for 9-12 months initially (21 hours per week) with an April 2021 starting date. There is scope for the contract to be extended. Please see the pdf below for further details.

Trainers, advisors and consultant vacancies

HCF Training & Development is looking to expand its pool of trainers, advisors & consultants and is seeking motivated Hertfordshire based professionals with experience of working in the voluntary and community sector, preferably in a leadership role. We actively encourage applications of interest from a diverse background of lived experience, as we look to strengthen the diversity of our training pool. 
We would love to hear from consultants with experience in:
  • Impact reporting

  • Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

  • Digital training



We have openings in the Watford and Hemel district, although we also welcome candidates from all over Hertfordshire.

Grants to run activities for Hertfordshire school children this Easter
The Easter holidays are looking brighter for disadvantaged children and young people in Hertfordshire thanks to an exciting partnership. Hertfordshire County Council has joined forces with Herts Sports Partnership and the Hertfordshire Community Foundation to deliver healthy food and activities over the holidays.
