Current vacancies:

Training and Development Project Manager

  • Based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire

  • 21hours per week, rolling contract, reviewed annually

  • Flexible working will be considered

  • Salary £36,400 pa (FTE) depending upon experience



We are seeking a Project Manager for our Training and Development area. HCF Training & Development supports the VCSE sector in Hertfordshire further by offering services dedicated to helping organisations becoming stronger and more sustainable.

This is a part time position, requiring 3 days a week in a hybrid environment. Managing a small team of 2, the new role holder will be working closely with the CEO and broader HCF team in building the future training and development strategy and schedule. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide free training and delivery to small charities, enabling them to strengthen their skill sets, and therefore, their impact also.

With previous project management, training management and relevant sector experience, you will demonstrate an ability to work with a range of stakeholders providing exceptional service delivery. You may have either a commercial, public sector or charity background. You will have a commitment to supporting voluntary and community organisations to help them thrive. You will also be a team player with strong communication skills. Together with your ability to think strategically and creatively you will ensure HCF Training and Development continues to best meet the needs of the county’s VSCE sector.
