Grants of up to £1,000 to improve access to music for children and young people in Hertfordshire

Application deadline: Rolling

The HCF Small Music Grants are made to improve access to music for children and young people living in the county of Hertfordshire.

Applications can come from charities, community groups, non-profits and schools.

We prioritise applications benefitting children and young people experiencing financial deprivation, and those excluded from mainstream music opportunities due to disability or neurodivergence
Grants can be used to support capital, project or running costs. Examples of sort of things you could
apply for include, but are not limited to:

  • Purchasing musical instruments

  • Purchasing other musical equipment

  • Providing music therapy

  • Arranging a concert trip

Applications are considered throughout the year, with a response time of approximately two months from submission. Applications for this programme can be submitted at any time.

High Sheriff Awards celebrate charitable projects across Hertfordshire
Liz Green, the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, publicly recognised and rewarded ten Hertfordshire voluntary organisations at the 2024 High Sheriff Awards ceremony held on Tuesday, 26 March 2024.
