We were impressed by HCF’s deep understanding and knowledge of the sector. Their key relationships – which help them to identify where there is need in the county – and the services that they provide ensure that local philanthropy is as effective as possible.

We have been working with the Hertfordshire Community Foundation for over ten years and it has been an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience. The work they do and the advice they provide in enabling us to support a range of charities across the county is simply tremendous.

As we do not have a specific area of interest we are forever challenging the team on new topics and different projects to support. Each and every time, however, they rise to the occasion with a level of diligence which should be the envy of the commercial world.

Given the above we are particularly keen to support and promote the awareness of the Foundation’s work and their twin objectives of grant making and philanthropy within Hertfordshire. We very much hope that more individuals, corporates and charities will have the opportunity of working with such a committed and diligent organisation and experiencing first-hand the difference the Foundation is making to so many people’s lives across Hertfordshire.

The knowledge and expertise of Hertfordshire Community Foundation has been invaluable in setting up and running our family fund, which generates income to support older people in the Welwyn area.
