Action Learning Groups

The Action Learning 2021 programme is now open for applications

We are proud to introduce Action Learning Groups as part of our programme of support for good governance, alongside our Better Boards trustee training programme. HCF Training & Development would like to offer Hertfordshire CEO's and Chairs the opportunity to join one of our tailored action learning groups, run by our qualified Better Boards Action Learning facilitators, Sue Pearlman and Adrienne Arthurs.

    Applications open from: 01 February 2021
    Deadline for applications: 28 February 2021

    • The programme will run from March -July 2021.

    • We will run 2x groups for Chair's and 2x groups for CEO's

    • We can fund up to 6 places in each group

    • Groups will meet monthly and each session will last for 2 hours

    • We strongly encourage both the the CEO and Chair from the same organisation to apply. However, it can be done individually.

Eligibility:
  • The programme is open to all Hertfordshire voluntary organisations that provide Adult Care Services.

  • Organisations enrolled on the Better Boards 2021 programme by 28 February 2021 will be given priority places.

  • Places will then be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, with priority given to organisations that have not taken part in Building Effectiveness or Better Boards previously.
