Funding Local Causes

Inclusive activities

DRUM provides low-cost day activities and support to adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities and their carers in South West Herts.
They received a 'Community Opportunities and Day Activities' grant a programme made possible thanks to funding from Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Services, enabling them to expand their services and continue uplifting the lives of those with physical and/or sensory disabilities.

“I had no confidence. I was at my very worst with my depression. DRUM have given me my confidence and life back. To be honest, it’s been my lifeline. They feed us lovely home cooked meals and there are also day trips which I love going to. As I said before, if it was not for DRUM I might not be here today.”
