St Albans District Chamber of Commerce raises over £7,000 for local charities

We are delighted to share that the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce’s annual St George’s Day Lunch has raised more than £7,000 in support of Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF).
The popular event, held at Sopwell House on Friday 25 April, brought together local businesses and community leaders for a memorable afternoon of networking, entertainment and fundraising. HCF was honoured to be chosen as the beneficiary charity for this year’s lunch.

Guests showed incredible generosity by making donations and bidding on a fantastic selection of auction lots, helping to raise vital funds that will support people facing hardship across Hertfordshire.

Paul Robin, CEO at HCF, said:
"We are so grateful to the St Albans District Chamber of Commerce for selecting HCF as their charity partner for this year’s event. The money raised will help us continue our work supporting individuals and families in crisis, making a real and lasting difference to local lives."

A huge thank you to the Chamber, event sponsors, and everyone who contributed on the day — your kindness and community spirit are truly appreciated.
