Magical fundraiser raises over £150k

After many months of planning the team at Hertfordshire Community Foundation was pleased to finally welcome over 250 guests to a magical Harry Potter fundraising dinner at Warner Bro Studios on 12 May 2022
The long awaited event raised in excess of £150,000 – which far exceeded the team’s expectations reflecting the incredible generosity of everyone who attended.

Every penny raised at the dinner will be awarded in grants to small grass root organisations helping to tackle a broad range of social need here in Hertfordshire.

Helen Gray, Foundation Director for Hertfordshire Community Foundation said; “We are still seeing the ongoing impact of Covid and we are now preparing for the impact of the rising cost of living so last week’s dinner will enable HCF to award more grants and help more people in need. We are grateful to everyone who gave so generously on the night. With your help we are making Hertfordshire a better county for everyone.”
