The Police & Crime Commissioner's Community Safety Fund 24/25

Deadline: Now closed for applications

The Police & Crime Commissioner is currently in the process of developing a new Police & Crime Plan for Hertfordshire which will be launched by the end of March 2025. In the meantime, the Commissioner invites proposals that meet any/all the following priorities which will appear in the new plan:

  • Preventing crime and anti-social behaviour
  • Tackling violence against women and girls
  • Improving young people’s safety

  • Overview

    The Commissioner is delivering a one-off Community Safety Fund round for this year 24/25 and applicants can bid for up to £6,000. The aim of the Community Safety Fund is to support community and voluntary initiatives including innovative local schemes which will reduce crime and make Hertfordshire a safer place to live .

    Community and voluntary groups including charities, CIOs and CICs (limited by guarantee) can apply.

    Precepting authorities in Hertfordshire can also apply including Parish, Town and District councils however they must demonstrate that they have match funding sourced for the amount applied for.

    This fund has now closed for applications. Decisions are expected to be made in April.
