HCF welcomes two new team members

We are pleased to welcome Sue Waite and Nicola Stokes who have recently joined our team
Sue Waite, our new Finance Manager, takes over from Alan Clarke who retired after eleven years of service to HCF. Sue is a Chartered Accountant and previously worked for Sopra Steria and J. Sainsbury plc. Sue has also served as Treasurer on the board of Trustees for Home-Start St Albans. In her free time Sue enjoys running, swimming and camping and is a Guide leader.

Nicola Stokes, joins HCF as Major Donor Grants Manager, a new role created to further develop our partnership with a selection of HCF’s key donors. Nicola however is not new to HCF having worked in a voluntary capacity as a Grants Assessor for over three years. Prior to joining HCF Nicky spent 14 years working for HSBC across a variety of businesses and functions. Nicky also continues to work for the office of the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire providing support and event management assistance. Nicky lives in Hertfordshire and enjoys tennis, walking and skiing.

Commenting on both appointments Helen Gray, Foundation Director, says “We are delighted to welcome Sue and Nicky to HCF. I am pleased that we have managed to attract such high calibre staff who bring with them a wealth of experience. In their new roles they will both play a pivotal role in supporting and promoting effective community philanthropy in Hertfordshire”.
