Funded by Hertfordshire County Council’s Community Wellbeing team the Community Grants programme is offering grants of up to £10,000.
Designed to fund small charitable projects and organisations which focus on helping people to connect, to allow them to stay independent and prevent or reduce reliance on formal care services. The programme particularly welcomes projects that celebrate, share and explore Hertfordshire’s arts, culture and heritage and how we might use culture to reduce social isolation and prevent people from being admitted to hospital. This is linked to the Year of Culture in Hertfordshire.
To be eligible groups must have an income/turnover of £250k or less.
The deadline for applications is 2nd January 2020.
