Funding boost available for small community groups - deadline extended in St Albans

The St Albans district is fortunate to be home to many inspiring small community and voluntary groups who are making a real difference to the lives of local people. However, many groups are struggling to find the essential funding they need to keep going.
HCF is delighted to be able to share that the St Albans Fund for the Future is once again open for grant applications.

The was set up by John Peters as Mayor of St Albans in 2001. John started the fund to help small groups in need of funding to enable them to concentrate on helping their beneficiaries rather than having to fundraise. The Fund provides grants of £500 - £1,000 per year for up to five years. The grants are flexible and can be spent on what will be of greatest help.

Shortlisted applicants will be considered by a panel comprising people from within the District and we will announce the successful groups before Christmas. For more details and to apply please visit www.hertscf.org.uk/funds-available or contact us on 01707 251351 or grants@hertscf.org.uk

The deadline for applications is now Monday 11th November 2019. For more information or to apply CLICK HERE
