Coronavirus Relief Fund appeal launches for Hertfordshire

Today we launch the Coronavirus Relief Fund appeal for Hertfordshire. The aim of the Fund is to get help quickly to local charities and community organisations that are helping the most vulnerable people during the Coronovirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

HCF’s fundholders have kick-started the Fund and we are now asking the public, businesses and other funders to contribute so that we can help support voluntary groups providing care and support for elderly and vulnerable people hit by the social and economic impact of the coronavirus.

Our plan is for the first wave of grants to be made by the end of the month. With the help of our donors and supports we are hoping to grow this fund so we can support as many groups across communities as possible, for as long as possible during this uncertain and unprecedented time.
