Funding Local Causes

Hertfordshire Educational Fund: Grants towards educational school trips and activities

Grants of up to £75 per child towards educational school trips and activities

Application Deadline: Rolling

In 2023 the trustees of Hertfordshire Educational Foundation agreed to transfer the ownership and future administration of the Hertfordshire Educational Fund to the Hertfordshire Community Foundation.

Who can apply
Applications must be for school educational visits/activities taking place in this academic year (2023/24) and must come from schools who are capable of assessing the pupils’ needs. We cannot accept applications from individuals. Please note this fund is only open for applications for this academic year. From the 24/25 academic year the fund will be revised and will not be open for school to apply for school trip subsidies, although it will still be focused on supporting disadvantaged children and young people.

If the application is successful, the payment will be made to the school so they must be able and prepared to administer and supervise the grant on our behalf.

Decisions are made on a rolling basis and we try to respond with a decision within two months.

Please note, for security reasons we no longer accept paper applications.
