Webinar: Embracing Digital Fundraising

Digital Fundraising can seem like a daunting prospect, but this hands-on course has been designed to help you embrace this new digital era of fundraising. Income from fundraising has taken a severe blow for many organisations, this training will help you find ways to adapt your fundraising strategy and carry on with your fundraising efforts to keep your services up and running.

This course will be run in two parts, the first will help you to learn the theory, challenge your traditional fundraising methods and get you thinking about how your organisation can embrace this change. The second part will then provide you with practical guidance on how to actively design a template for a tailored digital fundraiser that your organisation can take forward after the training.

Who the course is for:
Trustees, staff, volunteers and other members of a charity or anyone who want to be an effective fundraiser in the current climate. No previous experience required, but a good understanding of your own organisation, (needs and or lacks) will be helpful.

  • Tuesday 10 November 2021 Part Two- Putting your ideas into practice (2.5 hours)

Embracing Digital Fundraising: Part One- Why you should and how to do it?
  • What are the benefits of digital fundraising?

  • Learn how organisations are adapting to fundraising in a virtual world, through analysing successful case studies

  • Explore activities your own organisation could run virtually within your budget

  • Learn the importance of ‘thanking’ in the re-engagement process


Embracing Digital Fundraising: Part Two- Putting your ideas into practice
  • Practical, interactive session to discuss your Fundraising ideas following Part One

  • Checklist on things to consider when setting up your fundraiser

  • Peer-to-Peer group support and breakout rooms to discuss your ideas

  • Guidance on collaboration & support networks for your potential project



Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the benefits of why you should embrace digital fundraising and the different roles people can play, to maximise your fundraising efforts.

  • Understand why people get involved in the first place and what is important to then keep them engaged and motivated

  • Learn about online analytics & impact reporting tools you can take advantage of online

  • You will come away with ideas on what type of digital fundraising project could work for your organisation and a draft plan of action on how you can put your ideas into practice
