This course will walk you through:
- How to research and prepare your bid/application
- Evidencing need and gathering information
- Writing high scoring answers to meet funders’ criteria
- How to decide which tenders are right for you
- How to tender for contracts (e.g. with Hertfordshire County Council)
- Creating a bid plan to manage your time and resources
- How to win – best practice, top tips, common mistakes
Learning Outcomes:
Participants completing this course will be able to:
- Identify and evaluate potential sources of income
- Describe what is required to score highly and win applications and contracts
- Know how to improve their own bids and applications
Trainers:
Kate Newton is an inspirational trainer and has over 12 years’ experience of supporting hundreds of organisations to get started on their fundraising journey, successfully secure funding and thrive.
Jacquie Hime, previously Director of North Herts CVS, is now an independent consultant supporting clients with applications and providing training on fundraising and governance. She has a successful track record of applying and reporting for grants and contracts.
