Funding Local Causes

Groups in the St Albans area can apply for grants of £500 or £1,000 per year for up to five years.

Deadline 13th February 2024

This fund aims to support small voluntary and community groups who need long-term unrestricted funding to help them deliver their work in the community.
Launched by John Peters in 2001 during his year as Mayor, the Fund for the Future has since supported many groups and has made over 50 grants.

The particular aim of the Fund for the Future is to provide longer-term support to underpin and develop some of the charities undertaking vital work in the St Albans District.
