New Foundation Director announced

Gerald Corbett, Chairman for Hertfordshire Community Foundation, has announced the appointment of Helen Gray as the new Foundation Director to succeed Jonathan Aves.
After ten years, Jonathan leaves the Foundation on May 23rd to take up the post of Chief Executive Officer at the Willow Foundation.

Helen Gray is currently Head of Operations at St Albans Cathedral and prior to that she ran the Cathedral’s Development Office from 2010, masterminding the successful Cathedral Appeal ‘Alban Britain’s First Saint’. She has also worked at Baker Tilly and CMS Cameron McKenna and holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Bristol University.

Gerald said: “Jonathan has done a fantastic job for Hertfordshire Community Foundation. He leaves with our very best wishes. The Foundation is in great shape having built an endowment of over £10 million and I’m sure everyone will give Helen a warm welcome and full support when she starts”.

Helen will take up her new post at the beginning of September.
