Financial Reporting: Essentials of Charity Finance

This course is part of our training series on the ‘Financial reporting”. In this overview on financial reporting you will learn the various terms and practices of charity finance: assets, liabilities, depreciation, accruals etc and what key financial information is needed as part of financial reporting.

This is a course aimed at those with little or limited previous financial experience who need to understand and interpret financial information, including staff, trustees, and volunteers.

  • How to understand management accounts, annual reports and returns

Please note: You will need access to your organisation's annual report during the course. Please make sure to have a printed copy or downloaded copy of the accounts at hand before the start of the course.
