An introduction to digital strategy for trustees

What do we really mean by digital strategy and why should it matter to the board?

This workshop has been developed as part of the HCF Better Boards online trustee training series, a collection of training designed to support Hertfordshire trustees and improve board effectiveness.

Course Content:

This workshop will be led by Third Sector Lab, a consultancy and training organisation helping charities to get the most out of digital. The workshop will explore what we actually mean by digital strategy, why it needs to be considered by the board and why it is worth the investment of your time and money.

The workshop will:
  • Discuss what a digital strategy is and what should be prioritised

  • Why the investment in digital is worth the return

  • Tips on recruiting a digital trustee

  • What support is out there for the third sector




About the trainer:

Ross McCulloch is the founder of Third Sector Lab, leading on all digital strategy and consultancy work. Ross works with charities to help them use digital and social media as a tool to deliver organisational objectives.

Cost:

All Better Boards online trustee training workshops are FREE to attend and fully funded by Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Services.
