This workshop has been developed as part of the HCF Better Boards Springboard webinar series: A collection of training designed to support Hertfordshire trustees and improve board effectiveness.

Who the course is for
This course is open to trustees, chairs, CEO's and Senior staff involved with running their AGM, from Hertfordshire VCS organisations.

Course content:


This interactive online workshop will include:
  • Updated guidance on the legal requirements of holding an AGM according to the charity commission

  • General principles of holding a sucessful AGM

  • Communication with your members

  • Recording your decisions

  • Adapting your AGM to be held online


    Trainer:

    This webinar will be led by Sue Pearlman, TP Consultants. Sue has over 30 years’ experience in the voluntary sector and is the lead trainer on Governance for the HCF Training & Development 'Better Boards' programme. Sue has been a volunteer, a staff member and a CEO before starting her own consultancy, TP Consultants, where she specialises in governance and senior management issues. She has been, and remains, a trustee of charities, both local and national. She is also a Senior Consultant with NCVO (National Council of Voluntary Organisations)
