TOGETHER WE CAN

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Corporate Giving

We partner with Hertfordshire businesses to help them achieve their charitable and corporate social responsibility goals.

Local corporate giving enables companies of all sizes to become actively involved in the communities in which their staff, customers and suppliers live, work and play.
Businesses are becoming increasingly socially responsible. We see many examples of companies in Hertfordshire seeking to support their local community, but often other demands on their time mean they can struggle to respond to all the approaches they receive from local charities. Running their charitable corporate giving through the Hertfordshire Community Foundation is a great way for companies to ensure that their good intentions deliver real impact and help those most in need.

Herts100: An opportunity to join a collective giving group to help those in greatest need in the county. To find out more click here.

Named Fund: Some companies choose to set up a named fund, a ring-fenced fund created to benefit causes and themes important to your organisation. You can choose to restrict your gifts to a geographical area, for example near your company offices, or to particular charitable activities, such as developing the skills of young people. HCF will promote and seek applications that meet your required criteria.

Payroll Giving: Registering your company for payroll giving provides your employees with a convenient and tax-efficient way to make small contributions through their gross salary, on a regular basis. As an employer you can deduct the specified amount before tax. This has been shown to have a very positive effect on employee engagement, and demonstrates that your company is committed to supporting its staff and the local community.

Please contact us to set up a time to discuss how we can help you achieve your organisation's giving goals.

We have been working with the Hertfordshire Community Foundation for over ten years and it has been an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience. The work they do and the advice they provide in enabling us to support a range of charities across the county is simply tremendous.

As we do not have a specific area of interest we are forever challenging the team on new topics and different projects to support. Each and every time, however, they rise to the occasion with a level of diligence which should be the envy of the commercial world.

Given the above we are particularly keen to support and promote the awareness of the Foundation’s work and their twin objectives of grant making and philanthropy within Hertfordshire. We very much hope that more individuals, corporates and charities will have the opportunity of working with such a committed and diligent organisation and experiencing first-hand the difference the Foundation is making to so many people’s lives across Hertfordshire.
